To take an intermediate level course, you much provide proof of at least three three standard levels (including unarmed) at merit or above, examined by an Equity recognised exam board.

Taught by an Equity Fight Director, and apprentice teachers from the ACTT, this three-day intensive training course is designed with actors and performers in mind; you will learn and develop your ability to learn and perform combat and violent actions safely and effectively.

Unarmed performance combat covers essential skills for every performer, from falling safely to giving/receiving a slap, these are the skills you’ll be relying on most in your combat training arsenal. While these techniques will frequently be called upon on their own, this course will explore the choreography that can be achieved safely with these fundamentals in place.

At Intermediate level, we begin exploring stylistic methods of performing the techniques learned at standard - a Boxer throws a punch very differently to a Karateka!

Examined by ACTT; all qualifications earned are Spotlight accredited

Discounts are available at checkout for Sword & Scoundrel members, ACTT members, and Equity members

In partnership with Sword & Scoundrel
